The Abitana Connect Pro range includes a range of cost efficient patch cabinets and cabling components to be used in standard villas and flats, for new built or renovation. The compact and modular UTP/FTP/Coax patch cabinets see to the distribution of telephone, internet, data and TV signals throughout the different room of the home. The sleek design, professional mounting techniques, mature UTP/FTP and coax technologies guarantee a budget friendly, systematic and reliable project implementation.
Main components
Connectors for DIN-rail mount
Abitana's Connect Pro label offers a wide range of connectors for DIN-rail mount.
For residential installations our RJ45 UTP, FTP and our coaxial connectors are most commonly used.
However we also have loudspeaker and fibre optics connectors for DIN-rail mount in our range.
Our DIN-rail connectors can be finished by separately available side covers.
Cabinets
The Connect Pro label offers 2 models: with 1 or 2 DIN-rails.
Both models are equipped with a universal mounting board in expanded cell PVC on which you can mount you modem, router or switch with self-tapping screws or tie-wraps. Break-away lids on the top and the bottom of the cabinets allow easy introduction of the cables and take of ventilation of the electronic equipment.
Cords
Abitana's preconnectorised cords make you life easy. The Connect Pro range offers the right cord for each application. Thanks to the short RJ45 and coaxial patch cords you can keep your patch panel neatly organized. With the longer connection cords you connect any device to your home network.
Tools
Abitana's RJ45 UTP connectors are mounted with a simple IDC tool and a flush cutters. The IDC tool is included in the Connect Pro kits.Connect Pro Kits
Abitana's Connect Pro range is offered in kits and as separate components. The kits are available in 4 sizes and 2 versions (UTP or FTP).
Small
For 4-room houses and flats: lounge, kitchen, 2 bedrooms
Medium
Commonly used for 5-room houses and flats: lounge, kitchen, 3 bedrooms.
Large
Recommended for 7-room houses: lounge, kitchen, dining room, 3 bedrooms, study
Extra Large
For 8-room houses: lounge, kitchen, dining room, 4 bedrooms, study
S13 kits are designed for hybrid networks with UTP and coax cable.
S23 kits are designed for hybrid networks with FTP and coax cable.
